EMIS Needs Assessment and System Selection
JSA Services assists clients through our EMIS Needs Assessment and System Selection process. This process provides a quantitative and vetted methodology for documenting current processes, functional requirements, gaps in current processes, and opportunities for consolidation. We build a requirements evaluation matrix for use in scoring solutions and software vendors, prior to recommending a bestāfit solution. Additionally, JSA facilitates the communication and coordination of vendor software evaluations, and works with clients to define and analyze the selection criteria
EMIS Implementation Planning
JSA Services prepares an implementation plan that contains a statement of the overall strategy and identifies the project organization. The plan address how each of the implementation tasks will be accomplished, identifies deliverables, defines roll-out schedules, and identifies resources/level of effort needed to complete the implementation tasks for the selected system.
Enterprise EMIS Implementation
JSA works with clients that have selected commercial software packages to conceptualize, design and manage a configuration plan for the organization. JSA also manages and leads the configuration and population activities (implementation) required to meet specific obligations with commercial software applications. JSA provides support, training, and custom documentation as part of these implementation efforts.
EMIS Review for Continuous Improvement
If you are an existing EMIS user, JSA will review your current system software build, processes and configuration, leveraging industry-proven best practice implementation methodologies. We gain a comprehensive understanding of your current configuration, identify potential process gaps, and recommend system improvements. System enhancements may take advantage of new software features and functionalities. JSA works with your software vendor to demonstrate new features, and assists in determining what additional costs, if applicable, would result from implementing the suggested improvements.
Regulatory Applicability Assistance
The Applicability Assistance Process provides a vetted methodology, consisting of the following: identifying content requirements; documenting gaps in regulatory content usage; identifying opportunities to leverage applicable content for audits, task management, and reporting; and helping to implement applicable content into existing and future EH&S processes.
